It's looking like the weather is going to hold. If it is fine then we would still like to picnic outside, around the top of the falls.BRING YOUR PICNIC BLANKET.
Lunch will be served inside as a buffet. Just fill your plates up and wander outside, beneath the trees, to be massaged by the sound of the falls. It's a crying shame that my father (pictured, just weeks before his death) isn't here to cook up copious pots of prawns, scallops and crab. How excellent would that have been!
There's lots of guests coming from afar. Obviously they won't know any of you feral country bumpkins so please do introduce yourself to everybody and let each other know how you know either Paul or myself.
Don't forget a cardie for the evening: high altitude plus waterfall spray makes for chilly evenings.
