Yes, we are finally getting married and we would love to celebrate our day with you.
Well…not really a day, more like three days: the Buck's and Hen's stand off on Friday (see the Buck's and Hen’s invitations for that), our rainforest wedding on Saturday followed by a sleep over at Mungalli Falls Wilderness Retreat where we’ll all see each other again for breakfast on Sunday morning.
The wedding is a family affair so never mind getting Babysitters for the kids (we’ve already got that covered).
Get on with it will you, when’s the bloody wedding: Saturday March 31st, 2007
And where the bloody hell is Mungalli Falls? Ahh, we knew you’d ask so that’s why we’ve done electronic invitations. Click on this link, Mungalli Falls Student Village and Wilderness Retreat, and it will take you to the Mungalli Falls site. We plan on getting married at the bottom of the waterfall, surrounded by the things we love: rainforest (and frogs, hehe, sorry Paul) and you. If it’s raining, our contingency is to get married on the undercover viewing platform at the top of the falls.
Well hell, Mungalli’s so far away from Cairns (near Milla Milla, at the top of the Palmerston Range, for goodness sake) how do we get home after the reception? Stop your whining. Mungalli Falls Student Village is set up to cater for people who want to stay overnight. There’s two accommodation options: cabins that sleep four and dormitory style accommodation that sleeps 20. Unless you are buying us a block of land as a wedding present you don’t get no cabin. They’re all reserved for Paul’s and Megan’s families.
The dorms will be separated into three options: one for males, one for females, and one for families who want to stay together. No bedding is required, it’s all there. You will though, need to let Megan know if you want to stay overnight because she’s the one allocating bodies to dorms. You don’t have to pay for your accommodation and breakfast until you arrive at Mungalli Falls for the wedding, but we definitely need numbers by March 15th.
Oh you pair of misers, make us pay for our accommodation and breakfast, what about the wedding feast? Leave off, we’re not that bad! Lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are on us. Oh, I forgot alcohol, that’s also on us but because we’re celebrating at a high altitude, you won’t need much to get pickled – why do you think we’re getting married in the mountains!
What’s the plan for the day of the wedding?
- Please arrive at Mungalli to book into your accommodation by 11.30 am.
- Picnic fare lunch at 1.00 pm. We want our guests to relax, mingle, laugh, have a good time.
- Wedding ceremony at 2.30 pm. No crying allowed – you hear me Paul.
- Wine and Mungalli cheese afternoon tea at 3.30pm. Mungalli Wedding Cheesecake too!
- 6.30 pm BBQ tea.
Only our guests have access to it. You're a guest if you received an email link from Megan. We’ve raised this blog to keep you informed of all that is happening and so that Paul and Megan can share their personal messages to you all. Check from time to time to find out what’s happening and to get updates on the Buck's and Hen’s parties.
We really hope you can join us on our most special day, our wedding on March 31st. Please let us know (by leaving a comment below) no later than March 15th.

Hello Megan & Paul,
We would all love to attend your beautiful day. And why wouldn't I want to sleep with EVERYONE ELSE IN A DORMITORY -put me down with a husband and three mongrel kids aged 15,14 & 9. Do I have to do anything else, like be nice to you, book accommodation, buy you a present, wear underwear and not swear. Let me know.
Hi Megan and Paul
Steve and I would love to be there, and we too will need sleep over accom. Forget about us sleeping in separate dorms, we got hitched 25 years ago, yes, I did say 25 YEARS AGO - and we are still head over heals!). So a room for two will do.
From Jemma and Jaz - Dude - we'll be there. Dorm accomodation no prob for us: 1 adult, one 5 yr old.
No probs Megan,
We can stay at a B&B nearby if no cabin as Natalia is not keen about the dormitory.
Cheers,
Jim Bitomsky
Hi Megan and Paul
Thank you for the lovely invitation! You'd be in a real spot if I said I wasn't coming wouldn't you?
We need to get together to get your paperwork underway, and to start planning your ceremony. How about one evening this week?
Have a great weekend!

Hi Megan and Paul
Kim and I will be there, can’t stay the night but will enjoy the day. Kim can not make the laser tag (he hates being beaten by girls I think is the real reason) but put my name down with the WINNING SIDE.
Megan & Paul, Congrats to you both. Love to come and celebrate with you. Will grab a B&B or stay at Tolga Cheers Fran & Fred
Hi Megan and Paul,

Paul and Megan
We will be there minus Kate. That leaves Paul, Gail and Liam Johnston in attendance. Looking forward to catching up.
I was expecting a wedding invitation, not an Illiad style greek tragedy of two lovers getting it on! Anywhoo I'll be there with bells on... only bells on- you guess where...
P.S. Who's the ladybug & who's the sunflower?
Sean, Jean & Alex
Harold and I wouldn't miss it for the world - We look forward to sharing in your special day.
If Corrina May thinks I'm the designated driver than you had better put us down for a bed...
Hi Megan and Paul,
Thanks for the invite, Brendon and I will be there with bells on. We probably won't stay overnight but we will be there for the special day!!

Hello Megan and Paul
Thanks for the invite. We wouldn't miss it. "Wait-A-While" is waiting for you and reserved if you need to rest after the wedding!

Oh Megan and Paul.... I huffed and I puffed and I huffed and I puffed. It seems that right now huffing and puffing won't get me to your wedding. I would LOVE to be celebrating with you - and I will, but from here in Hervey Bay. Now, having said that, if a plane ticket drops in my lap (and they have been known too)- then I will be there - also with bells on. As this will be last minute - then I will make my own accomodatin arrangements thanks luv. Love and best wishes to you all!
Megan and Paul,
Forgot to tell you to book us in for the "Great Pajama Party" accommodation.

Hi, Paul and Megan…….
Thank you for inviting me to your special day ….unfortunately something has come up unexpectedly and we will not be able to attend on the 31st. Please rest assured that I would have loved to be there to celebrate with you both and join with the other well wishers ……Its just one of those unforeseen circumstances that life throws at you from time to time.
Both Kate and I will be thinking of you on the 31st and wish you both love and happiness for a long and rewarding future together.
Hugs and kisses…… (Handshake for Paul)
Nick
